Receiver for the Tigers from 1969 through 1972.
Chosen for Associated Press Little All-America Third Team and United Press International All-Texas College First Team. Also an All-Southland Conference honoree.
Held Tiger receiving records for 30 years: career receiving yards (2,285) and receptions (157) until 2002.
Led in single-season touchdowns (nine in 1972) until 1997, and tied in 1998.
Was fifth in career touchdown receptions (22) and first until 1999.
Won the gold medal in racquetball at National Senior Olympic Games, 2003. Also won gold medal as Texas state champion in Senior Olympics, 2001-2003.
