Brianne Davis was appointed the Trinity University Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Communication in the summer of 2016.
Davis, a 2015 honor graduate of Trinity, will be responsible for a multitude of sports information duties. She will assist with video interviews, recruiting brochures, statistics, marketing, and a wide variety of related tasks.
While completing her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and sports management minor, Davis gained a wealth of experience in the sports information field. She worked extensively with the Trinity Sports Information department each of her four years in college. She assisted with game programs, statistics, and game-day operations. Davis also worked to create archives through the many years of Tiger athletics, and assisted with social media efforts for the department as well.
In addition to her experience as a Trinity student worker, Davis served as a media relations assistant for Spurs Sports & Entertainment in San Antonio, working with the credentialing of media members and assisting with game-day operations. She served as a ticket sales intern and property assistant at the University of Texas at San Antonio, working to brand UTSA football by making frequent appearances around the San Antonio community. Additionally, Davis conducted peer-to-peer marketing with ARAMark, a food services company, related to the purchase of meal plans. She also created graphics and flyers for use by the company.
After graduation from Trinity, Davis became the marketing manager for the Corner Bakery Cafe where she conducted marketing campaigns and built customer satisfaction and retention for the San Antonio franchise locations.
