Kristen Harrison has taken over as the Interim Associate AD for Internal Affairs and Rec Sports. She be in charge of coordinating Trinity’s extensive programs of intramurals, club sports, and outdoor recreation.
Harrison served as Intramural Coordinator at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana for four years. From April 2012 to September 2016, Harrison developed, organized, and implemented all intramural sports, activities, and events. The versatile Harrison also was the men’s soccer club adviser and participated in numerous community service activities.
She was the Nicholls State assistant women’s soccer coach from July 2008 to April 2012. Prior to this period, Harrison held the position of interim head coach of the NCAA Division I program. Harrison was also a graduate assistant coach of the Colonels from August 2007 to July 2008.
A talented student-athlete, Harrison was elected the Colonels’ team captain in the 2005 and 2006 campaigns. Harrison earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Nicholls State in human performance education, in 2007. In 2010, Harrison received a Master of Education degree in higher education administration and leadership from Nicholls State.
Harrison is a member of the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA). She also was elected to a three-year board membership of the Louisiana Collegiate Recreational Sports Association. Among her accomplishments, Harrison hosted a Louisiana state tournament in flag football and volleyball. Harrison also played a major role in the creation of a $10,000 endowment scholarship.
A native of Waco, Texas, Harrison is married to first-year Trinity women’s soccer Head Coach Dylan Harrison ‘02.
