Trinity Leading SCAC President's Trophy Race After Fall Season

San Antonio - Trinity is the leader of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Presidents’ Trophy Standings after the fall season.

The symbol of the best overall program in the eight-team conference, the Presidents’ Trophy is a 300-pound railroad bell. Trinity scored 190 points this fall, and has a lead of 55 points over second-place Colorado College.

Tiger teams captured three of the six conference fall championships. Trinity won titles in men’s and women’s soccer, and volleyball. Second-place finishes went to football, and men’s and women’s cross country.

Under the leadership of Director of Athletics Bob King, Trinity has won the end-of-the season Presidents’ Trophy a total of 16 times. Last May, the Tigers were awarded the prestigious prize for the fifth consecutive year.
