San Antonio - Trinity has received a national ranking of 16th in the final fall Learfield Sports Division III Directors’ Cup Standings.
Over 400 NCAA Division III institutions are ranked in the prestigious standings, administered by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA). Led by Trinity’s Director of Athletics Bob King, the Tigers amassed 194 points based on NCAA competition.
Tiger women’s soccer advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals. The Tigers completed the campaign with a 23-1-0 record, and a #6 ranking.
Men’s soccer advanced to the NCAA Round of 16 for the fifth consecutive time. The Tigers wrapped up with a 22-2-0 mark, and a #12 ranking.
Women’s cross country was represented by sophomore Molly McCullough at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships, and placed 65th of 280 competitors in the 6k race. McCullough finished in the best position of any sophomore runner in Trinity history.
The 16th-ranked Trinity volleyball team advanced to the NCAA Regional, and concluded the season with a 27-8 mark.
