Sakshaug and Reid Sweep SCAC Player of the Week Honors

San Antonio - Trinity's Christian Sakshaug and Kellen Reid swept the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week awards after winning two key road games last weekend.

Sakshaugh was the Co-Offensive Player of the Week, while Reid took Defensive Player of the Week honors, and the Tigers defeated Dallas and Colorado College to solidify their top spot in the SCAC standings.

In the game against Dallas, Sakshaug assisted on the double-overtime game-winner, giving Trinity a regular season series split with the Crusaders. He also scored a goal in the first half that put the Tigers up 2-0 at the time.

This season, Sakshaug has posted six goals and three assists. He recorded his 21st career assist and stands alone in 20th place in Tiger history. Sakshaug's goal was the 17th of his career.
