San Antonio - Trinity's Kevin Lee was recognized as a Scholar-Athlete by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).
The ITA awards student-athletes this prestigious honor to those who achieve success in the classroom and on the court. In order to be considered, players must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 during the most recent academic year. Lee was previously honored this year with the SCAC Character & Community Award for his extensive community service involvement.
The 13th-ranked men's tennis team also had an outstanding season as they advanced to the third round of the NCAA Division III Championship and concluded the campaign with a 17-11 record. Trinity also won its 22nd overall Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship.
