Megan Hill is in her second season as the assistant coach of the Tigers softball team.
She joined the Trinity staff prior to the 2017 campaign after a successful career at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. Coach Hill was a standout third baseman for the NCAA DIII Yellow Jackets and received National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region accolades in 2016. She also was tabbed for the All-American Southwest Conference Third Team. As a second baseman, Coach Hill was elected to the All-ASC Second Team in 2013 and 2015.
Coach Hill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology with a sport management concentration from LeTourneau in May 2016. She served as an intern for LeTourneau Director of Athletics Terri Deike, gaining sports administration experience.
Additionally, Coach Hill worked as a catching and hitting instructor and personal trainer for the Sandlot Indoor Athletic Facility in Longview. Coach Hill assisted the LeTourneau softball team in travel planning, equipment maintenance, and mentored the players.
She also was the head coach of the White Oak (Texas) High School Summer Junior Varsity Summer League Team and was the assistant of the San Antonio HITT 16-and-under fastpitch team. Coach Hill had catching and pitching coach duties with the Texas Comets Gold 18-and-under team in Round Rock, Texas.
Coach Hill is a native of Bulverde, Texas, located near San Antonio. She attended Smithson Valley High School and was a 2012 honors graduate. Coach Hill was a key player of the Lady Rangers 2012 University Interscholastic League Class 4A State Championship team. The second baseman was elected to the All-Tournament Team.
