Megan Hill is in her first season as the Assistant Coach of the Trinity Tigers softball team.

Coach Hill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology, with a sports management concentration, from LeTourneau University (Longview, Texas) in May 2016. A standout third baseman for the YellowJackets, Coach Hill received National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-West Region Third Team accolades in 2016. She also was named to the All-American Southwest Conference Third Team. Playing second base, Coach Hill was elected to the All-ASC Second Team in 2015 and 2013.

She gained invaluable insight into athletics administration by serving as an intern for LeTourneau Director of Athletics Terri Deike. Coach Hill worked as a catching and hitting instructor, and personal trainer, for the Sandlot Indoor Athletic Facility in Longview. She also assisted with the LeTourneau softball team in travel planning, player mentoring, and equipment maintenance.

Her additional coaching experience included the position of head coach of the White Oak (Texas) High School Summer Junior Varsity Summer League team. Coach Hill also was the assistant coach of the San Antonio HITT 16-and-under fastpitch team. A versatile mentor, Coach Hill was the catching and pitching coach of the Texas Comets Gold 18-and-under squad in Round Rock, Texas.

A native of nearby Bulverde, Texas, Coach Hill attended Smithson Valley High School, where she was an 2012 honors graduate. Coach Hill was a key member of the Lady Rangers 2012 University Interscholastic League State Class 4A Championship team. The second baseman was elected to the All-Tournament Team.
