Kerrville, Texas - The 11th-ranked Tiger women's soccer team put the finishing touches on its regular season schedule with a 3-0 shutout win at Schreiner (TX) University on Saturday.

GAME SUMMARY

Trinity was held to just three shots in a scoreless first half, though the Tigers led 13-2 overall in shots taken during the game.

The Tigers ripped two shots in the first 13 minutes of action, but were unable to get another until Julia Kelly's attempt hit the cross bar just 28 seconds before halftime.

Schreiner had the first two shots on goal in the game, but Trinity goalkeeper Paige Wallace recorded saves on both – the second of which came just after the start of the second period.

Trinity finally began to find better chances in the second half, earning the first shot on goal in the 63rd minute.

Shortly after that first shot on goal, Meredith Licata turned in Trinity's second shot on goal with the eventual game-winner in the 66th minute on an assist from Chelsea Cole.
