San Antonio - Trinity women's soccer seniors Hannah Booher and Julia Camp, and junior Chelsea Cole have been elected to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 8 Division III Women's Soccer Team.
CoSIDA recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance athletically, and in the classroom. The three Tiger standouts are now eligible for selection for the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team, to be announced December 5.
Booher is a biology major who has earned Academic All-District honors for the second consecutive time, and was also elected to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team in 2016. The midfielder was a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) All-Tournament selection, and has paired seven goals with a team-leading 16 assists.
Camp majors in English at Trinity, has scored 11 goals and 13 assists for the Tigers this season, and was recently chosen for the SCAC All-Tournament Team for the third time. She has scored 43 career goals and 27 career assists, ranking in the top 15 in school history in both categories.
Cole is a neuroscience major who has twice been picked as the SCAC Offensive Player of the Week, and leads Trinity with 18 overall goals - including a team-best five game-winners - and 45 total points. She has posted 31 career goals and 21 career assists, moving into the top 20 in both categories.
Led by second-year Head Coach Dylan Harrison, the ninth-ranked Tigers captured their 22nd SCAC Championship and secured a bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament. Trinity (18-1-0) will compete in the postseason for the 23rd occasion and opens this year's NCAA event at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, in Abilene, Texas against #21 University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (TX). The winner will advance to Sunday's second-round game at 1:00 p.m.
