Box Score

San Antonio - Trinity University Tigers junior All-America women's cross country runner Caitlin Masse of Katy, (Cinco Ranch), will be featured on "CBS Sports Presents Championships of the NCAA" on Saturday, Dec. 26.

The one-hour program, which shows highlights of 10 NCAA fall championships, will air at 1:30 p.m. Eastern. Additional information about the television special is available at http://www.ncaa.com/genrel/122109aaa.html.

Masse finished eighth at last month's NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championships at Highland Hills, Ohio, with a 6k time of 22:21.7. It marked the best-ever finish by a Trinity Tiger cross country runner, male or female, in NCAA competition.

She qualified for nationals by capturing the NCAA South/Southeast Regional, with a time of 22:56, at Greensboro, N.C. Masse also picked up United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Regional Women's Athlete of the Year honors following her course-breaking time on the Guilford College route.

The Tiger men and women are coached by Jenny Breuer, who guided her women's team to a sixth-place finish at the 2008 NCAA Championships.
