San Antonio - Trinity junior Taylor Piske and senior Nicola Hill have swept the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Cross Country Men's and Women's Runner of the Week honors.

Hill paced the Tiger women to a second place finish, and Piske spearheaded the men to a No. 4 performance in the non-Division I category last Saturday at the University of the Incarnate Word Invitational at Live Oak, Texas.

Both races consisted of runners from NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, as well as the NAIA.

Piske finished fourth in the non-Division I field, and ninth overall, clocking in at 25:06.7 over the 8k course. Hill placed sixth in the non-Division I pool and 18th overall, crossing the finish line in 24:07.3 in the 6k event..

The Tiger teams will compete Saturday at the Concordia Invitational at Round Rock, Texas.
