Emma MacEachern came in at No. 6 (19:39), and Samantha Simank was eighth (19:44). Simank's time was nearly a personal best, despite the tougher conditions for today's race.
Head Coach Emily Daum continues to be impressed by her teams this early in the season. "I was really pleased with how the teams performed in hot and humid conditions today. Our women closed the gap among our top five runners by 11 seconds. The men also had a strong race, beating several Division II schools by more than 40 points."
The Tigers will next compete at the Chile Pepper Invitational at Fayetteville, Arkansas, on October 3.
