Box Score

San Antonio - Trinity junior Keaton Holt was awarded the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Men's Cross Country Elite 19 Award.

The award is presented to a student-athlete with at least a cumulative 3.25 GPA and a minimum of 60 credit hours, who earned All-SCAC accolades in a season.

Holt, who hails from Portland, Oregon, is a physics major with a 4.00 GPA. He placed ninth Saturday for all-conference kudos at the SCAC Men's Cross Country Championships at Widefield, Colorado, earning the honor for the second consecutive year.

The Tiger men were runners-up at the SCAC Championships for the 10th overall occasion. Trinity also was a top-two finisher for the seventh time in a row. Four Tiger runners received All-SCAC distinction, finishing in the top-14 in the field.

Last year, Holt qualified for the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team in cross country. He is a member of Trinity's Dean's List and has received SCAC Academic Honor Roll recognition in both cross country and track & field.

Earlier this season, Holt was named a SCAC Cross Country Runner of the Week. He placed 19th in the men's 6k race at the UIW Opener in September, leading Trinity to a fifth-place finish at the San Antonio competition.
