Box Score Louisville, Kentucky - Senior Brianna Ratliff and junior Jordan Juran of the Tiger women's team, along with junior Harry Bellow of the Trinity men's squad, represented the Tigers at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday.
HIGHLIGHTS
The three Tigers qualified for Nationals because of high finishes at last week's NCAA South/Southeast Regionals in Memphis, Tennessee. All three runners earned All-Region recognition.
Bellow placed ninth in the men's event, while Ratliff and Juran finished 10th and 14th, respectively, in the women's. Each earned All-Region honors.
Ratliff finished 95th in the women's 6k race at this year's NCAA Meet, which was a huge improvement from her 2017 appearance at Nationals during which she finished 211th. She was also the second-fastest runner from the South/Southeast Region, following her 10th place finish at last weekend's NCAA Regional Meet.
Bellow tied for the fifth-highest finish in Trinity men's cross country history by coming in at #111 in the men's 8k race. After finishing ninth at Regionals last weekend, he was the fifth-fastest South/Southeast Region runner in today's event.
Juran finished 237th in the women's field, which is an improvement from her first attempt at the NCAA Championships as a first-year runner in 2017.
Head Coach Emily Daum has guided runners to the NCAA Championships in five of her six years at the helm.
