Scouting The Courses: The Raven course is a stunning course that presents drama and strategy on every tee. The course is 6,900 yards and par 71. Masterfully carved through the marshes and pine trees of Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, golfers can elevate their game with a myriad of exciting shot options. Raven was home to the Boeing Championship, a stop on the PGA Champions Tour, in 2006 and 2007. No. 9 is a difficult par 4 that requires a precise tee shot to avoid water and trees. No. 18 is a dog-leg right that requires a smart tee shot over the water. This course overall demands accuracy off the tee.Â
Â
The Links course has a winding layout against the backdrop of the Baytowne Marina and the Choctawhatchee Bay. The Links is the ultimate in risk-reward golf. A shot-makers course, accuracy, and proper club selection are key if you want to outfox the prevailing Gulf Coast winds. The course tips out at 6,710 yards and is a par 72. No. 18 is a long par 4 that requires a precise tee shot and second shot, with water around the green and cutting through the fairway. No. 7 is a dog leg left with bunkers and water that forces players to lay up, the second shot must be precise to an elevated green.
