Trinity Men’s Golf Teams in Seventh and Eighth Place at John Bohmann Memorial

Seguin, Texas - Trinity has entered two men's golf teams at the John Bohmann Memorial Invitational, and the Tigers stand in seventh and eighth place after Monday's opening two rounds at Starcke Park Municipal Course.

The top Tiger team shot a 585 and is one stroke behind host Texas Lutheran University and the University of Texas at Dallas, which are tied for fifth place. Trinity's second squad carded a 592.

Individually, five Tiger golfers are in the top-25 standings. Daniel Nunez shot a 1-under 70 and par-71 and is tied for fourth place at 1-under 141 after two rounds. Nunez started the second round today tied for seventh place and is now only two strokes behind the leader from McMurry (TX) University.

Cade Black is tied for eighth place with a 2-over 144. Zac Bunder shot a first-round 76 and stood in 36th place, but he was able to move up to the 13th spot after carding a 69 in the second round. 

Holden Wisener is tied for 19th place, and Spencer Leader is in a tie for 25th. Leader climbed up from 46th place after shooting a second-round 70, for a 149 total.
