Biography
Why Trinity:
- "All the way back in 2018, my freshman year, I had people asking me where I wanted to attend college. I never really had an answer and even though I was always told I had time, I wanted to know what I was doing. Eventually, I came up with a simple, confident answer to the question. “I want to be able to go to Stanford, not go there, just be qualified to if I so choose.” Senior year rolled around and I had kept up the high standards I set for myself but still hadn’t even decided what I wanted to major in. After multiple collegiate athlete websites and tons of calls with coaches from all around the U.S. (and even outside of the U.S.) I stumbled upon Trinity. With no dream college in mind, I set up a few random standards for higher education: small population, high academic standards, a swim team, preferably hot weather, an outdoor pool, and not in Oregon. Trinity seemed to meet all my standards except for the price. I talked to Coach Cathleen and loved everything I heard. I was excited to apply to see if I could get into what I now wanted to consider, my dream school. After much debate about tuition, area, team, and every other thing I could think of putting on a pros and cons list, I chose Trinity University. I am so happy I was able to find the school for me after feeling like the search would never end. I can’t wait to see what I can achieve in the next four years."
