Alejandra Sanchez De la Fuente Molino begins her first year at Trinity University as the Assistant Women’s Golf Coach, returning to the Tigers program after a highly decorated collegiate playing career. One of the most accomplished golfers in program history, Sanchez De la Fuente Molino brings firsthand knowledge of Trinity’s championship culture and competitive standards to the coaching staff.

During her career, she earned WGCA Honorable Mention All-America honors in 2022 and was named SCAC Player of the Year in 2023. She finished seventh at the 2022 NCAA Championships and followed with a tie for 19th at nationals in 2023, helping lead Trinity to four consecutive NCAA Championship appearances from 2022–25. A four-time All-SCAC selection—including three First Team honors—she was also named SCAC Freshman of the Year in 2022 and earned SCAC Golfer of the Week honors four times. As a Tiger, she helped Trinity capture four straight SCAC team championships and posted a career scoring average of 76.53, with a low round of 69, seven top-five finishes, and 10 top-10 finishes.

A standout both on the course and in the classroom, Sanchez De la Fuente Molino pursued a rigorous academic path at Trinity, majoring in Engineering Science and a minor in Mathematics. She cited Trinity’s elite academics and opportunity to compete at the highest level as key factors in her decision to join the program. As she transitions into coaching, Sanchez De la Fuente Molino looks to apply her competitive experience, technical knowledge of the game, and deep connection to Trinity to help develop the next generation of Tiger golfers.
