CH Farmer enters his fourth season as a Trinity men’s soccer assistant, and junior varsity coach. Coach Farmer earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity in 2012, in business administration (finance).
Coach Farmer was team captain during the 2011 campaign. He was elected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Region First Team in 2009 and 2011. Coach Farmer also was selected for the All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) First Team during the same campaigns. The Tigers captured the SCAC Championship during three of Coach Farmer’s playing years, from 2009-2011. Trinity also advanced to the NCAA Division III Playoffs each of those seasons.
One of Coach Farmer’s proudest moments occurred in 2011 when his teammates selected him for the Timothy “Tito” Isom Award. The award is named for the late Tiger player, and recognizes character and performance, on and off the soccer field.
He was invited to the trials of the Sydney Olympic FC, the Australian NSW Premier League from January to February 2013, but was injured during the tryouts. Coach Farmer played in Austin, Texas, with the Austin Aztex of the United Soccer League Premier Development League in the summer of 2012. The league develops college players for competition at the professional level.
Coach Farmer began his collegiate career at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He started 13 of 17 games during his freshman year from 2008 to 2009 at the NCAA Division I institution.
