Corey Wildman ‘12 will be in her 10th season as an assistant coach of the Trinity track & field teams when the 2025 campaign gets underway. The former Corey Callahan, a standout on the Trinity women’s track & field squad, coaches the Tigers in horizontal jumps.
Since joining the staff in 2016, Coach Wildman's jumpers have had great success both at the conference and national levels. Her jumpers have earned 50 All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) titles at the SCAC Championships, 23 of which have been conference titles. On the national stage, Coach Wildman has coached 16 NCAA Division III National Championship qualifiers, six of which received All-America accolades (Sean Majors – 3rd at 2021 Outdoor Championships, 5th at 2022 Indoor Championships and 6th at 2022 Outdoor Championships; Jordyn White – 8th at 2021 Outdoor Championships; Britney Sullivan – 7th at 2018 Outdoor Championships; Ayriel Coleman – 7th at 2017 Outdoor Championships;). Coach Wildman has had at least one student-athlete qualify for the NCAA DIII Championships each year she has coached.
Coach Wildman earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity in 2012. A magna cum laude honors graduate, Coach Wildman double majored in business administration (international business) and German. She spent her junior year in Munich, Germany, taking courses through the program Junior Year in Munich, and Ludwig Maximillian University. Coach Wildman made Trinity’s Dean’s list numerous times and received All-Academic kudos from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association following the 2012 season.
A talented student-athlete, Coach Wildman previously held the Trinity record in the women’s long jump from 2010-2018. Coach Wildman competed as a heptathlete her senior year, finishing 24th in the nation. She also earned All-SCAC status five times in the long jump and 400-meter relay.
Outside of coaching track & field, Coach Wildman works in commercial real estate management and development. In November 2015 Coach Wildman married teammate Todd Wildman ‘ ‘09, ‘10, a two-time NCAA champion in the men’s pentathlon. Coach (Todd) Wildman coaches Trinity student-athletes in hurdles, and they have two young boys (Keller, 4 and Blake, 2) who love to spend their weekends playing at the track.
