Hannah Weber is in her first year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Trinity University during the 2025-26 school year, bringing a strong background in athletic training, rehabilitative science, and athlete care at both the high school and collegiate levels.
She has completed extensive clinical rotations, including over 700 hours as a graduate student intern with Trinity University Athletics, where she assisted with injury evaluation, game coverage, treatment, medical documentation, and emergency procedures. Hannah also gained more than 200 hours of experience at MacArthur High School, working under an athletic trainer in the football setting, and over 1,000 hours with the University of the Incarnate Word Sports Medicine team, the Lackland Air Force Base medical staff, and Special Warfare Human Performance units. In addition to her athletic training background, she worked as a Preschool Teacher and After-School Care Director at The Christian School at Castle Hills, developing leadership and organizational skills while overseeing staff and programs. She also served as a Physical Therapy Technician at Crossroads Physical Therapy, where she assisted patients with rehabilitation activities and clinical treatments.
Hannah has been recognized for her academic achievement and leadership throughout her education and training. She earned the UIW Presidential Scholarship (2019–2023) and the Dean’s Scholarship (2023–2025), was named to the Dean’s List multiple times, and graduated cum laude with her bachelor’s degree. She has served as President of the UIW Athletic Training Society and was a recipient of the Alamo Area Athletic Trainers Association Scholarship in 2024. Her professional involvement includes work with the UFL San Antonio Brahmas, All-American Bowl, and medical staff coverage for events such as the New Braunfels and Helotes Rodeos. She also holds certifications in BLS instruction, Stop the Bleed, OSHA training, and bloodborne pathogen safety.
Hannah earned her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitative Science with a concentration in Pre-Athletic Training from the University of the Incarnate Word, graduating cum laude in 2023. She is currently completing her Master of Science in Athletic Training at UIW, where she has continued to build clinical experience in both collegiate and high school athletic settings. Her academic success, paired with diverse clinical exposure and leadership in professional organizations, has prepared her to deliver excellent care as part of Trinity University’s sports medicine team.
