Coach Cortinas played a pivotal role in Trinity’s success during the 2024–25 season. Under her guidance, the Tigers recorded their second consecutive 30-win campaign and set a new program record with 32 total victories. She also contributed to the team's dominant offensive performance, helping the squad achieve a .373 batting average and a school-record 90 doubles. Additionally, during the 2023–24 season, Coach Cortinas was part of the staff that earned SCAC Coaching Staff of the Year honors.

Prior to working at Trinity, Coach Cortinas held assistant coaching roles at Occidental College and Pomona-Pitzer Colleges, where she led player development, managed social media, oversaw program operations, and served as Head Recruiting Coordinator. Coach Cortinas is an experienced collegiate coach with a strong background in NCAA Division III softball, strength and conditioning, and athletic administration. 

Jazmyne earned a Master of Arts in Coaching and Administration from Concordia University, Irvine in May 2020. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from California State University, Dominguez Hills, completed in December 2016
