Trinity University

Joseph Macrini is in his second year as assistant track andfield coach for Trinity University. He coaches the sprinters (100m,200m, & 400m) and also the relay teams. Coach Macrini was a2008 graduate of Trinity and was a four-year letter-winner in trackand field. In addition, he has USA Track and Field Level 1Certification.

During Coach Macrini's time at Trinity, he earned All-SCAChonors eight times. He also is the 2007 and 2008 SCAC 400-meterchampion and served as team captain his senior year. Coach Macriniis currently the third fastest 400-meter runner in Trinity historyand also the only two-time SCAC champion in the 400. 

Additionally, Coach Macrini competed with three other conferencechampions in the 4x400 relay at last year's Tiger AlumniMeet.  That event was videocast live over the internet, andwas one of the most exciting events of the weekend.
