Joseph Muscarella enters his first season as the Tight Ends Coach at Trinity University.

Before arriving at Trinity, Muscarella served as an assistant coach at the varsity and JV levels in St. James, New York, where he focused on developing player fundamentals, technique, and football IQ. Muscarella has also led individualized and group wide receiver training sessions, concentrating on route running, catching, and position-specific skills for middle and high school athletes. 

Muscarella was a key contributor at SUNY Cortland and was a member of the 2023 National Championship team, helping lead Cortland to three consecutive Empire 8 Conference titles (2022–2024). Over his collegiate career, he earned a starting role in 10 games and played a crucial part in the team’s 34–4 overall record.

Muscarella graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from SUNY Cortland.
