Kasey Gonzalez enters her third year as Director of Aquatics at Trinity University for the 2024-25 academic year. Gonzalez has a ton of experience in the aquatics field. She most recently spent time as the Aquatics Facilities Manager at the Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio for two years. Before that, Gonzalez was the Water Safety Area Supervisor at Aquatics San Antonio. She also served as the Aquatics Coordinator at The University of Texas at San Antonio for a few years. 

In the different positions she held before landing at Trinity, Gonzalez was responsible for providing onsite management of multiple indoor and outdoor aquatic facilities, conducting cleaning and basic maintenance of mission pools, providing support and assistance in maintaining ARC and SEA safety standards, and overseeing the lifeguards, aquatic facility and assisting Assistant Director of Aquatics in various assignments. 

Gonzalez will be responsible for the daily operations of both the indoor and outdoor pool at Trinity. She will also staff and oversee the lifeguards. Gonzalez holds a Red Cross Certification as a Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard Instructor, Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, AED, and is an NSPF Certified Pool Operator. Kasey Gonzalez graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2016. She then acquired her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health from UTSA. Gonzalez also graduated from Clemson University with a Master of Science degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management in 2021.
