Mark Jablonski

Coach Mark Jablonski, who begins his first season with the Tigers in 2025-26, brings a unique blend of coaching, training, and playing experience to the assistant coach position at Trinity University.  Prior to Trinity, Coach ‘Jabo’ was a four-year member of the coaching staff at Schreiner University that won a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship and developed multiple All-SCAC players and a Second Team All-American.

Before coming to Texas, Coach Jabo had a successful player development practice in New York City and was consistently ranked among the Top 10 Basketball Coaches in New York State on CoachUp.com. In addition to private coaching in New York, Mark coached at Avenues-The World School, SWARM AAU, City Outworks AAU, and was an assistant coach for the Bronx Community College Women's Team. In 2018, Mark served as an assistant coach to Chris Oliver on the Canadian National Team that won the 40th Annual Jones Cup in Taiwan. 

As a former Division I basketball player, Mark played at the University of Pennsylvania under Hall of Fame Coach Chuck Daly and former Houston Rockets General Manager Bob Weinhauer. 

Coach Jabo has trained as  a Certified Mindset Coach and Performance Visualization Specialist with Mental Performance Coach Lindsey Wilson and is working toward a Masters Degree in Sports Psychology.
