Matthew Hickman is in his first year with Trinity, serving as the Assistant Equipment Manager.
Before joining Trinity, Matthew accumulated seven years of diverse experience in athletic equipment management. He served as an Equipment Team Attendant for the San Antonio Spurs, where he provided comprehensive gear support for over 200 players and staff, managed logistics for practices and games, and upheld high inventory control standards. Additionally, he was the Tennis Facility Operations Coordinator at Newk's Tennis Club, where he organized tournaments and managed equipment inventory. Matthew also gained experience in fitness training at the YMCA and handled game operations with Spurs Sports & Entertainment. His career began as an Athletic Equipment Graduate Assistant at the University of the Incarnate Word, where he supported 10 varsity programs with equipment management and game-day operations.
Matthew holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Sports Management from the University of the Incarnate Word.
Matthew married his wife, Gracie, in 2020.
