Peyton Thibault has been a driving force behind the creative vision of Trinity University’s athletics department since joining in the summer of 2023. Now in his third year as Assistant Athletic Director for Multimedia, Peyton serves as the department’s creative director, blending his passion for storytelling with cutting-edge technology to bring the Trinity Tigers’ achievements to life.
In his role, Peyton oversees a wide range of multimedia responsibilities, including managing the department's social media platforms, photography, videography, and other visual content. His leadership ensures that Trinity’s athletics remain at the forefront of digital engagement, connecting with fans, alumni, and the broader community in dynamic and innovative ways.
Through his work in Trinity Sports Information, Peyton has elevated the athletic department’s brand, enhancing its presence across various channels while celebrating the dedication and success of Trinity’s student-athletes. His creative talents and strategic thinking continue to shape the narrative of Trinity athletics, leaving a lasting impact on the university’s sports programs and their audience.
Trinity’s Sports Information Department was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Sports Information Staff of the Year in 2023-24, highlighting the immediate impact Peyton has made. The staff was also recognized by the College Sports Communicators for several submissions. The department won first place in Division III for its Volleyball Season Recap, second place for the Men's Basketball Pre-Game Video, and third place in Division III for the Football Alumni Week Video, which ranked 13th overall in the College Division. Two Non-Game Day Graphics also earned national recognition, securing top-10 finishes with designs highlighting standout Trinity University student-athletes.
Peyton graduated from Olivet Nazarene University (IL) with a degree in Marketing, then went on to earn his master’s degree in Strategic Communication from East Texas Baptist University. He did extensive work in the Sports Information Department at both schools, prior to joining Trinity’s staff. Peyton is from Marietta, Ohio, and attended Wood County Christian School.
