Jeremy Daum ‘08 will enter his tenth year as an assistant coach with Trinity’s cross country teams in the 2023 fall season.

Coach Daum competed for the Tigers cross country and track & field teams as an undergraduate. He was a two-time All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) honoree and twice made the All-Region Team. Coach Daum was a double major in business administration with an emphasis in finance and Chinese.

He has continued to exhibit running prowess by competing at numerous national races, as well as coaching Trinity runners after graduation in various events. Coach Daum is a marathon runner and posted his personal-best time of 2:24.23 at the 2014 Houston Marathon. He also clocked in at 1:08.27 at the 2013 U.S. Half-Marathon Championship.

Coach Daum serves as Chief Financial Officer of Synoptek, a global systems integrator & managed IT services provider, offering comprehensive IT management and consultancy services to organizations worldwide

He married the former Emily Loeffler, the head cross country coach, in May 2011. The couple has three children: Emma (March 2015), Ethan (June 2017), Olivia (May 2020), and Noah (March 2022).
