AmieBradley has been the head coach of the Trinity University Tigerswomen's basketball team since 2005.
Coach Bradley has led the Tigers to two trips to the NCAADivision III playoffs. Under Coach Bradley's leadership, Trinityhas three, 20-win seasons.
The former Amie Smith was a four-year starter and member of the1,000-point club for the University of Texas-Austin women'sbasketball team from 1993 to 1997. Coach Bradley was the squad'srebounding leader each season and was team captain during the LadyLonghorns 1996-97 campaign. Texas won the former SouthwestConference championship in 1996.
Coach Bradley was the recipient of the University of Texas JillSterkel Leadership Award and earned recognition on the AthleticDirector's Honor Roll for all of her eight semesters as a LadyLonghorn. She received the Bachelor of Business Administrationdegree in 1997.
Coach Bradley went on to become the founder and owner of abasketball skills training company in Dallas. She trained athletesof all age levels and abilities. A master at teaching the art andscience of basketball, Coach Bradley was hired as a motivationalspeaker for coaching clinics, camps and athletic banquetsthroughout the state of Texas. She was also an active coach in theAmateur Athletic Union (AAU).
A graduate of 28-time state champion Bishop Lynch High School inDallas, Coach Bradley served on the coaching staff of her almamater from 1999 to 2005.
Coach Bradley serves a co-sponsor of the Student-AthleteAdvisory Committee.
She is a member of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association,the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches and the Fellowship ofChristian Athletes.
Coach Bradley is married to Steve Bradley, a former TexasLonghorn football player. The Bradleys have five children, daughterBrooke (age 11), son Jack (9), daughter Paige (8), daughter Bryn(5) and son Ty (3).
