Box Score San Antonio - Trinity University is the host
institution for the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Soccer
Championships semifinals and final, which will conclude
today at Blossom Soccer Stadium (12002 Jones-Maltsberger).
Trinity is the co-host for the national event with San Antonio
Sports, which has brought numerous premier sports events to the
area.
The defending NCAA Champion in both men's and women's soccer is
Messiah College, and after the two teams won in yesterday's NCAA
Semifinals, they will both play for a shot at another title this
year.
Messiah's women will face Washington-St. Louis at 1:00 p.m. this
afternoon. Washington eliminated Lynchburg 4-3 on penalty
kicks. The two teams tied 1-1 through regulation and two
overtime periods. Messiah defeated The College of New Jersey
1-0 in its semifinal.
Fans can follow the women's championship game through the live stats or via the live video. Kickoff is scheduled for
1:00 p.m. (CST).
In the men's semifinals, Messiah edged Williams 2-1 to advance
to the NCAA Championship game. Calvin then joined the
defending champions by scoring a late goal to take a 1-0 win over
Dominican (IL).
The men's title game will begin at 5:00 p.m. (CST), and will
also feature both live stats and live video.
