San Antonio – Trinity University Tigers senior Jonathan Alden has been named to the Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars Division III Men's Team.

The academic team, managed by the Golf Coaches Association of America, honors scholar-athletes in all NCAA divisions, and the NAIA. Division III recipients must have a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, and a stroke average of 79.0 or lower.

Alden, from Austin, Texas (Westlake), is an economics/finance major with a 3.63 GPA. His stroke average for the past season was 75.45. He earned All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference recognition for the third straight year, finishing in fourth place at the SCAC Championship in Stone Mountain, Ga. Alden won individual medalist honors at the John Bohmann Memorial (Seguin, Texas), and the ConCan Intercollegiate (ConCan, Texas).
