Destin, Florida – Trinity University's Women's Golf Team finishes seventh through their three rounds at Sandestin's Links Course, a strong finish in a field of 24.
Erica Lee (Prosper, Texas / Prosper) led the Tigers through their final round, carding a four-over, 76. With final scores of 80-74-76, including four birdies, Lee finished T14 individually.
Natalie Lewis (El Paso, Texas / Coronado) ended strong with a final score of seven-over, 79, putting her with final scores of 78-78-79. Carding two birdies through today's round, Lewis stayed consistent and played strong throughout the event.
Jennie Dong (Fulshear, Texas / Jordan) rounded out the event with scores of 77-77-80. Her event was highlighted by five birdies, helping Trinity stay high on the leaderboard all three days.
Sabrina Nader (Houston, Texas / The Kinkaid School) ended the tournament with scores of 81-74-80, putting her with Lewis at T25 in the field. Nader carded an impressive eight birdies throughout the event.
Audrey Weinshel (Phoenix, Ariz. / Country Day) finished today's round with a solid ten-over, 82, in tough conditions. Her event was highlighted with four birdies, three of which were carded in today's final round.
Looking Ahead
The Tigers wrapped up their fall season with the GolfWeek October Classic. They will return to play in the Spring at TPC San Antonio in early February.
