Box Score Kerville, TX-The Trinity Tigers were tied for first place Monday with Texas-Tyler at the Schreiner Women's Shootout.
The Tigers and Patriots shot an opening-round 339 at the par-72, 5,849-yard course at The Club at Comanche Trace.
Trinity and UT-Tyler lead host Schreiner (344), Northwood (355), McMurry (375), Concordia (376), Texas A&M International (407), and Texas-Dallas (515).
Five Trinity golfers were in the top-20 standings.
The Tigers Madison Wallender was in a tie for first place with Kayla Ketcheson of Northwood. Each golfer shot a first-round 82.
One stroke back at 83, in a tie for third, was Trinity's Emma Herzog. Molly Zumbro stood in a tie for 10th, with an 86.
Molly McCarthy was tied for 15th, at 88, and Julia Orrange was 18th, with a 90. Elise Rosmarin, playing as an individual, shot a 96 and was in 26th place.
