San Antonio - Trinity University senior defender CH Farmer (Dallas/Lake Highlands) has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

Farmer spearheaded a taut Tiger defense which did not yield a goal in three games last week. The Tigers defeated Schreiner, Greenville (Ill.), and Texas-Tyler in home match-ups.

In addition to helping the team hold opponents to 14 shot attempts in 270 minutes of play, Farmer scored a goal against Schreiner in the season-opener.
 
Last season, Trinity didn't record a third shutout until the ninth game of the campaign, allowing four goals in the first three contests.

The Tigers, led by Head Coach Paul McGinlay, travels to Richardson, Texas, this weekend to take on Hardin-Simmons and Texas-Dallas.
