San Antonio - Trinity Tigers junior midfielder Victor Araujo has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

Araujo sparked the 23rd-ranked Tigers to two SCAC road victories last week. Trinity, the defending SCAC champion, defeated the University of Dallas 6-0 and Colorado College 5-1 and extended its win streak to six games.

With the game tied at 1-1 against Colorado College, Araujo helped break the deadlock by scoring or assisting on all four of the Tigers' second-half goals. Araujo supplied the assist of the game-winner, just 3:49 into the second stanza. He then fired in back-to-back goals, and assisted on another, in a span of only 16 minutes of game time.

Araujo leads the Tigers with five goals, and has chalked up four assists, for a total of 14 points.

Trinity (8-2-1, 6-1-0 SCAC) wraps up its regular-season home schedule with two conference games next weekend. The Tigers meet the University of Dallas at 7 p.m. Friday, and Colorado College at noon Sunday.
