Bloomington, Illinois - The Trinity Tigers
women's soccer NCAA Division III second-round game with
Illinois Wesleyan, scheduled for Sunday night, has been postponed
until 10:30 a.m. Monday.
Tournament officials made the call because of severe
tornadic-wind storms which knocked out power to the Illinois
Wesleyan campus.
The second-ranked Tiger women (22-0-1) won their first-round
game 3-1 Saturday over the Augustana (Ill.) Vikings at Illinois
Wesleyan University. IWU (13-3-5) was a 3-0 first-round winner over
Transylvania.
The winner of Monday's game will advance to the NCAA
Sectionals, to be held Nov. 22-24 at a site to be determined.
