Box Score San Antonio - The 15th-ranked Tiger men's soccer team shut out Texas Lutheran University 2-0 Friday night in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference game.
Trinity upped its overall record to 8-2-0, and improved to 4-2-0 in SCAC competition. The Tigers also won their third straight clean-sheet game.
"It was a battle," admitted Head Coach Paul McGinlay. "It was nice we turned in a strong second-half performance. They did a good job of defending our attack in the first half. We made some adjustments at halftime, and we responded well. It's nice to pick up three points in conference play."

Chris Madden supplied the assist. Christian Sakshaug made it 2-0 Trinity in the 57th minute, on an assist by Todd Edwards.
