Kerrville, Texas - The Tiger women's golf leads the team and individual standings after Monday's opening round of the Schreiner Spring Shootout at The Club at Comanche Trace.

The Tiger women shot a first-round 324, and hold a 24-stroke lead over host Schreiner University. McMurry University and Southwestern University are tied for third, the University of Texas-Dallas is in fifth place, Hardin-Simmons University is sixth, and Concordia University stands at No. 7.

Individually, Shelby Devore is the first-round leader with a 7-over-par 79, and Brigette Lee is just one stroke back in second place. Madeline Moran is tied for sixth place, Hanna Niner is in a tie for the No. 9 slot, and Alessa Hutter is tied for 12th.

Trinity is competing in its first tournament of the spring season, which concludes Tuesday.
