San Antonio - The Tiger baseball team suffered a tough 2-1 loss to Our Lady of the Lake University on Tuesday night, making it a regular season sweep in the series for the Saints.

Trinity fell to 22-10 on the season with the loss, while Our Lady of the Lake improved to 18-23-1 on the year.  The Saints beat the Tigers 7-4 earlier this season at Trinity's field.  Trinity was held to just one hit in the game, while OLLU used a different pitcher in each inning.  

An error, walk, and one-out double put Trinity on the board first in the top of the second inning, but OLLU quickly drew even with a run of its own in the home half.  The Saints used a leadoff double, coupled with a sac bunt and a routine groundout to make it 1-1.

In the fourth, Our Lady the Lake strung together three hits with two outs to take the lead with the eventual game-winning run.  Austin Gallego drove home the run, atoning for a pair of early errors in the game.  

Carter McEachern earned the only hit of the game for the Tigers, doubling home the early run in the game, which was scored by Nick Jewett.  

Trinity returns home this weekend for a three-game Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference series against Schreiner University.  The Tigers will play a doubleheader on Saturday at 1:00 p.m., followed by a single game at the same time on Sunday afternoon.
