San Antonio - Trinity's Hanna Niner has been tabbed as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week.

Niner paced the 17th-ranked Tigers to the team victory this week at Trinity's Alamo City Classic. The Tigers finished 22 shots ahead of Hardin-Simmons (TX) University, and 38 strokes better than Southwestern (TX) University.

The Tiger senior completed Monday's opening day of the tournament in fifth place at The Quarry Golf Club. Niner then carded a 3-over-par 74 in the second round, to finish as runner-up, with an 11-over 153. Her score of 74 was the low round of the day on Tuesday.

The Tigers concluded their fall schedule, and will return to action in the spring.
