San Antonio - Trinity's Taylor Moser has been selected as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week.

The Tiger senior captured her first collegiate title as she emerged as the champion of the Trinity-hosted Alamo City Classic at The Quarry Golf Club Tuesday. Moser shot a final-round 5-over 76 for a 155 total, which was two strokes better than the runner-up. Moser finished the opening round in fourth place with a score of 79, and led the field of competitors overall with five birdies over the two rounds.

Eight Tiger golfers placed in the top-25, a fact which helped Trinity win the team title for the second consecutive year. Trinity shot a second-round 321 and completed the event with a 635 total on the par-71 course. The Tigers won the seven-team event by 19 strokes.

The tournament marked the end of Trinity's fall season. Up next will be the Schreiner Invitational March 5-6, 2018, in Kerrville, Texas.
