San Antonio - Trinity Emilee Strausburg has been tabbed as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for the second occasion this fall season.

Strausburg was runner-up Tuesday at the Trinity-hosted Alamo City Classic at San Antonio's The Quarry Golf Club. The event was scheduled for two rounds but was shortened to one because of heavy rain.

The Tiger senior carded a 10-over-par 81, finishing just one stroke back from the individual winner from Concordia (TX) University. Strausburg tied for lead in tournament pars with 10 on her card over 18 holes.

Trinity placed third in the team standings, 10 strokes behind first-place Concordia and five in back of second-place finisher Hardin-Simmons (TX) University. The Tigers placed ahead of University of Houston-Victoria (TX), Schreiner (TX) University, and Texas Lutheran University.

Next up for Trinity will be the Schreiner Spring Shootout March 11-12 in Kerrville, Texas.
