San Antonio - Trinity's Emilee Strausburg has been selected as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for the second time this season.

Strausburg finished first in the women's field at the Schreiner Invitational at Comanche Trace with a combined score of 153 over the two-day event. Strausburg carded a 79 after Tuesday's round after having shot a 74 the first day. 

The individual win is the first in the career for Strausburg, who has finished in the top 10 in all four of the events this season.

Trinity women's golf team finished first as a team at the Schreiner Invitational with a combined score of 637. The Tigers have now won two consecutive team titles after finishing the fall season by winning their Alamo City Classic in October.

Trinity will wrap up the month at the George Fox Westbrook Invitational held at Westbrook Country Club on March 17 and 18.
