San Antonio - Trinity women's golf wrapped up competition at the West Region Invitational hosted by Southwestern (TX) University with a seventh-place finish.

HIGHLIGHTS

The Tigers finished the second round with a team total of 349 to conclude the event with a score of 687.

Elizabeth McGillivray was the top finisher for the Tigers and ended in a tie for tenth, carding an 85 in the second round to finish with a 168 over the two days. 

Taylor Moser tied for 15th after finishing the day with an 86 to move her event total to 171.

Emilee Strausburg wrapped up the event with a 172 combined score to finish the event tied for 18th. 

Shelby DeVore tied for 27th after carding a two day score of 176.

McGillivray, Moser, and Strausburg also each recorded two birdies over the course of the two day event, which was the third most of any golfer in the tournament.

The Tigers will travel to The Woodlands, Texas for the SCAC Championships held on April 23-24 at the Panther Trail Golf Course.
