Trinity Women's Golf in Fourth After First Round at West Region Invitational

Georgetown, TX - Trinity women's golf team is in a three-way tie for fourth place after the first day of competition at the West Region Invitational at Berry Creek Country Club.

 

HIGHLIGHTS

The team's combined score of 338 on the par-72 course has put them in a three-way tie for fourth place and is 13 strokes behind first-place Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Emilee Strausburg leads the Tigers with a first round score of 82, which puts her in a three-way tie for ninth place. 

Elizabeth McGillivray sits just one stroke behind her teammate with a score of 83 and is currently tied for twelfth. 

Taylor Moser rounds out the Tigers represented in the top 25 with a score of 85, which is tied for nineteenth. 

Shelby DeVore is currently in a tie for 30th after her first round score of 88.

 

UP NEXT

The Tigers will tee off tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. for the final day of competition at the West Region Invitational, hosted by Southwestern (TX) University.
