San Antonio - The Trinity women's soccer team moved up a notch and is now ranked 21st nationally by the latest United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Poll.
Led by third-year Head Coach Dylan Harrison, the Tigers remained at #2 in the West Region. Trinity has won four straight games and stands at 5-1-1 overall and 4-0-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Last week, Trinity blanked Colorado College 9-0 in a SCAC home game. The win marked the Tigers' 100th consecutive conference victory, dating back to the end of the 2008 season.
Trinity has posted six shutouts and is ranked third in Division III with a .857 percentage. The Tigers are sixth in goals-against average (0.268) and 13th in scoring offense (4.29 goals per game). Chelsea Cole leads the team with nine goals, and has scored 40 in her career. Cole is now ranked eighth in the Trinity career goals category.
The Tigers continue their SCAC schedule today (Tuesday) at Schreiner (TX) University in Kerrville, Texas.
