Box Score Kerrville, Texas - The Trinity women's golf team placed second and Raquel Hill tied for first place individually Tuesday at the Schreiner Spring Shootout.
HIGHLIGHTS
The Tigers shot a 325 second-round score for a two-day 654 total at Comanche Trace. Trinity bettered its score by four strokes from the first round and finished nine in back of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (TX).
First-year golfer Raquel Hill made a mark on her early collegiate career by tying for first place. Hill shot a 3-over-par 75 for a two-round score of 151 at the Schreiner (TX) University event. The tournament title was awarded to the Mary Hardin-Baylor golfer based on a tiebreaker system.
Emilee Strausburg carded an 82 for a 163 total and finished alone in fourth place.
Sarah Buss bettered her score by seven strokes and rose from 11th place to a tie for eighth. Delaney Kelley rounded out the Tiger team and finished in a tie for 10th-place.

The Tigers will compete Friday through Sunday at the George Fox Westbrook Invitational at Phoenix, Arizona.
