Box Score San Antonio - Brindl Langley has been appointed as an Assistant Coach with the Trinity volleyball program.
Coach Langley brings a wealth of talent and experience to the Trinity campus in the sport of volleyball. A native of Camas, Washington, Coach Langley was a standout volleyball player at the NCAA Division II Florida Southern College, located in Lakeland, Florida.
The versatile Coach Langley played outside hitter her first three years for the Moccasins and then became a libero. She helped Florida Southern earn four DII National Tournament appearances and finished as the school's all-time leader in digs with 1,923 in her column.
Coach Langley was voted the Florida Southern Most Valuable Player of the 2016 campaign, as well as the 2016 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Honorable Mention All-American and All-South Region Team. She was also selected for the 2016 All-Sunshine State Conference (SSC) Team, 2015 NCAA South Region All-Tournament Team, and was named the 2013 SSC Freshman of the Year.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida Southern in human movement and performance in 2017. The cum laude graduate received many academic honors, including selection for the President's and Dean's Lists and was a Buckner Scholarship recipient. She also qualified for the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll in 2013, 2015, and 2016 and received the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) Academic Achievement Award in 2016. Additionally, Coach Langley was a member of Phi Epsilon Kappa Honors Fraternity for Exercise Science.
Coach Langley went on to receive a Master of Kinesiology degree (in behavioral studies) from Boise State (ID) University in the fall of 2018. Her passion for volleyball continued though, as she became a member of Boise State's beach volleyball team. Coach Langley was a Bronco Student-Athlete Scholar and received a beach volleyball scholarship to the Division I program. She also served as a beach volleyball intern and oversaw the Fitness Challenge at Boise State.
Her coaching experience includes two summers as an assistant at the Northwest Reign Volleyball Club in Vancouver, Washington where she mentored beach volleyball players ages 12-18.
Coach Langley is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and interned at A3 Strength and Training in Vancouver.
Tiger volleyball is led by Head Coach Julie Jenkins, who has completed 34 seasons at the helm. She has guided Trinity to 24 NCAA Division III appearances and 18 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships. Coach Jenkins' credentials also include NCAA Runner-Up and Third-Place finishes. The Tigers have advanced five times to the NCAA Elite Eight and 14 occasions to the Sweet 16.
